LARAMIE, Wyo. - Following a 2011 season that saw much success during Mountain West play, the Cowgirl soccer team opens the 2012 league campaign with a match at UNLV on Saturday at 2 p.m. MT.

"We are excited to begin conference play," said Wyoming coach Pete Cuadrado. "UNLV is off to a great start and will be a tough game on the road. They play fast and have some of the conference's top players. We'll need to control the game and not let them play to their strengths."
