Quotes from head coach Pam Davis ----
"This was a good indication and a good gage for getting out the first match jitters. They all knew that they were going to be nervous, especially having to play indoors with less area to work in and more eyes on them, it was tough to throw them in that situation especially for the new girls.
"I set up this match to use it as an indication of what I have on the team, who?s going to play where. It?s really helped me get an idea of the best line up for the tournament this weekend and it was good to see them in a match situation instead of just playing their teammates.
"Overall I think their intensity was great, I think they focused in and had great support with eachother, really backing eachother up, keeping eachother into the matches and being very supportive.
"I was happy with our three doubles, especially the three combinations of doubles because no one had played together before except for a couple of doubles matches at practice, but for the individual situation the communication of knowing who has what ball was great. They just felt real comfortable together.?
