"Tonight, we came out and kept them from really getting into their offensive rhythm tonight," said head coach Pat Stangle. "I thought we did a nice job with our passing and serving game, and really rebounded from last night's loss against New Mexico State. Outside hitter Sara Maytorena, along with our middle blockers really came out and had a nice match. Now we will come home and prepare for conference play which begins next weekend."
The Wyoming volleyball team will open up Mountain West Conference play next weekend as they host the New Mexico Lobos, on Friday night, and the Air Force Academy Falcons, on Saturday night, in Laramie. They will also host a non-conference match on Monday night against North Dakota State. All three matches are set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
