The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Teamfell to the UNLV Rebels, 15-9, 15-8, 15-4, on Saturday night in Laramie.
Outside hitter Leiana Oswald led the way for the Rebels with 13 killsand hit .400. UNLV hit .330 on the night, along with eight total teamblocks.
The Cowgirls finished the night with a .146 hitting percentage and fourtotal team blocks. Barbie Bragg notched 11 kills and hit .526 to ledWyoming.
"Our passing is very frustrating, and I don't know what to do," saidhead coach Susan Judge. "We practice on it all the time, because we dotend to fluxuate from night to night. We will continue to work on it,and work on the psychological aspect of it. I don't know what happentonight. We didn't show up with any type of intensity or inspiration,and this was one match we could of chalked up for Wyoming."
The Cowgirls fall to 7-15 overall and 1-6 in the conference. They willtravel to Utah to play Weber State on Monday night at 7:00 p.m., andthen continue conference play next week against Colorado State.
