The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball team (12-14 overall, 6-9 MWC) began their last weekend of regular season conference play on a high note with a three game sweep (30-14, 30-22, 30-22) against the TCU Horned Frogs (17-14 overall, 5-11 MWC) on Thursday night in Laramie.

"We not only hit well, but we kept our errors and the blocks down tonight," said head coach Pat Stangle. "Anytime you do that at home you're going to be tough to beat.

"I told the team not to get discouraged by the road trip last week. I thought we played well against Utah and against BYU it was a night that everything came together for them. So this week we didn't do anything different in practice and I think that helped us going in to this match."

Wyoming was led by junior outside hitter Rachel Smith, who recorded a match high 15 kills and a .400 (15-3-30) hitting percentage, while adding seven digs and one block solo. Lauren Smith followed with ten kills, a .421 (10-2-19) hitting percentage and two block assists. Annie Meyers recorded nine kills, while Andrea Seele chipped in eight. Samantha Eley led the way with 22 digs, while setter Tasha Weishahn had 37 assists and ten digs. The Cowgirls hit .330 (51-13-115) for the match and had seven total team blocks.
