The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball team (20-11 overall, 7-8 MW) closed out the weekend with a decisive 3-0 victory (25-14, 25-15, 25-20) over the Air Force Falcons (9-19 overall, 3-11 MW) on Saturday night in Colorado Springs. The Cowgirls 20th victory marks the third-consecutive season they have won 20 or more contests and become the first team in school history to have three-consecutive 20-win seasons.

"This is a great road win for us," Wyoming head coach Carrie Yerty said. "I am so proud of this team to become the first ever team in school history with three 20-win seasons in a row is a great accomplishment. This group has certainly left its mark on Cowgirl volleyball history."

Two Cowgirls finished the night in double-figures led by Jodi Purdy. She recorded a team high 12 kills along with nine digs for the match. Camille Coffman added 11 kills and four blocks while hitting .526 (11-1-19). With nine total blocks sophomore Erin Kirby became the Cowgirls single-season leader with 183 passing Katie Donahue's 181 in the 1985 season. Libero Becky Stewart chipped in a team-high 19 digs while Rachel Keyes had 22 assists. Wyoming hit .279 (46-17-104) for the match and had 12 total team blocks.

"Erin led the way in blocking become to become the single-season all-time blocker in Wyoming history," Yerty said. "Camille also had a great match tonight."

Air Force was led by Felecia Clement who had six kills, while three others recorded five kills. They hit 25-22-102 (.029) and had eight total team blocks.

The Cowgirls struck first by scoring three of the first four points to take the early 3-1 lead. An error by the Cowgirls made the score 3-2 and Wyoming answered by scoring five of the next eight to give them a three point advantage. They would extend that lead with a 5-2 run to make it 13-7. After a timeout from the Falcons, they would score three of the next four to pull to within four, 14-10. A kill from Camille Coffman started a 5-2 run for Wyoming to give them a seven point lead, 19-12. It wasn't ever close as the Cowgirls only allowed the Falcons to score two more points to win the set 25-14.

In the second set, the two teams played even through the first eight points with the score tied at four all. Air Force would score the next point off a service error by Calli Miller to take a one point lead, but the Cowgirls answered with a 5-2 run to put them ahead 9-7. Over the next several points, they increased the lead to 6, 14-8. Felicia Clement recorded the ninth point for Air Force, and then Wyoming ran off nine straight points to give them a double-figure lead, 22-9. Despite being outscored down the stretch, the Cowgirls took the set 25-15, and a 2-0 lead in the match.

The Falcons tried to rally in the early part of the third set as jumped out to a 6-3 lead. A kill by Camille Coffman started a 4-1 run for the Cowgirls to put them up by one, 8-7. The two teams traded scores over the next few points until Wyoming went on a run. With the score all tied up at 11 all, Wyoming scored the next six of eight to give them a five point advantage, 17-12. They would extend that lead with four unanswered point to make it 21-13. Air Force would close the gap started by a Cami Richan kill to score the next seven of nine to pull to within three, 23-20. A kill from Jodi Purdy and block assist closed out the set 25-20 and the match 3-0.

Wyoming will close out the regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 21 against the New Mexico Lobos. The match is set for 7 p.m. in the UniWyo Sports Complex.
