The University of Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team will host its annual Winter Charity Clinic this Saturday in the UniWyo Sports Complex and the Indoor Practice Facility. The clinic is $25 with proceeds of the event going to Albany County SAFE Project. The Winter Charity Clinic is open to children age K-12 and is split into two sessions going from K-8 and 9-12. The clinic will start at 11 a.m. and last until 1:30 p.m. It will feature skill sessions and competition at the end of the event.

Proceeds for the Winter Charity Clinic benefit Albany County SAFE Project. The SAFE Project works closely with a number of organizations and agencies to ensure that victims and survivors of abusive situations have their needs met. SAFE Project coordinates the local Sexual Assault Response Team to better facilitate collaboration between health agencies, police officers, emergency responders, and the criminal justice system.

All participants in this year's clinic will receive a free ticket to the Cowgirl basketball game against UNLV Saturday at 2 p.m., in the Arena-Auditorium. Parents of participants are eligible for an $8 discounted ticket. Siblings can also receive a $4 discounted ticket.

Parking for the event will be available in the stadium lot east of War Memorial Stadium. For more information on the clinic contact Wyoming assistant volleyball coach Dan Georgalas at dgeorgal@uwyo.edu.
