The Wyoming volleyball team will play their final two home Mountain West Conference matches this week. They will welcome the UNLV Rebels, on Thursday, Nov. 13, and the San Diego State Aztecs, on Saturday, Nov. 15. Both matches are set to begin at 7 p.m.

Wyoming enters the week with a 4-17 (.190) record overall along with a 3-9 mark in conference play after two tough losses against TCU and New Mexico last week. The Cowgirls are currently led by outside hitter Dani Bedore who is averaging 3.04 kills, which is sixth in the MWC, and 1.67 digs per set. She is followed Lauren Whitney who is adding 2.77 kills and almost one dig per set. As a team, they are averaging 11.94 kills and 11.08 digs per set.
The Rebels enter the week 14-12 overall and 7-6 in MWC play. They are led by Jessica Walters, who is averaging 3.08 kills and .92 digs per set, while Erin Greenwood is adding 2.78 kills and .71 blocks per set. UNLV returns three starters and ten letterwinners that went 24-6 overall and 12-4 in the MWC a year ago. This is the 29th meeting between the two teams. UNLV leads the series 17-11. The last time the two teams met was October 18, 2008 as the Rebels defeated the Cowgirls, 3-0 (23-25, 19-25, 23-25), in Las Vegas. UNLV is coached by Allison Keeley who is in her fifth season with the program.
In their second match of the weekend, UW will play the San Diego State Aztecs, who are 8-15 overall, 5-8 in MWC play and will take on CSU before facing the Cowgirls. They are led by Lauren Salisbury who is averaging 2.94 kills and 1.01 blocks per set, while Stephanie Darnall is adding 2.71 kills and 1.83 digs per set. San Diego State returns four starters and eight letterwinners that went 13-16 overall and 4-12 in the in the MWC a year ago. This is the 36th meeting between the two teams. SDSU leads the series 27-8. The last time the two teams met was October 16, 2008 as the Aztecs defeated the Cowgirls in five, 3-2 (25-20, 12-25, 10-25, 25-20, 11-15). San Diego State is coached by Mark Warner who is in his 14th season with the program.
