Friehauf Moves Into First Place In Career Blocks: Senior middle blockerMelody Friehauf continues her move into the Wyoming Top 10 in blocks andkills during the 2000 season. On Tuesday, Oct. 24 against DenverUniversity, Friehauf overtook first place in career blocks with a matchhigh 11 blocks. With 167 on the season, she currently has 614 in herillustrious career. She overtook Kristina Dzelme, who previously heldthe mark with 573. She has also moved into the top ten in kills atnumber three with 1,285 kills. Friehuaf, from Windsor, Colo., is athree-year starter and two-time All-Conference Player. She was named theMWC Player of the Week twice, and earned All-Tournament honors threetimes.
