The Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team will wrap up their season on Thursday night as they host the UNLV Rebels. The match is set to begin at 7 p.m. in the UniWyo Sports Complex. It will be the final match for UW senior libero Jessica Kagarise.

Wyoming enters the week with a 12-18 record overall and 2-13 in the Mountain West Conference. The Cowgirls are currently led by freshman outside hitter Jodi Purdy who is averaging 3.41 kills and 2.53 digs per set. She is followed by Lauren Whitney and JennaRae Jester. Whitney is averaging 2.59 kills and 1.26 digs per set, while Jester is adding 1.99 kills and 1.12 blocks per set. As a team, the Cowgirls are averaging 12.02 kills and 13.30 digs per set.
UNLV is currently 8-15 overall and 5-9 in the MWC. The Rebels are led by Cursty Jackson with 3.35 kills and 1.02 blocks per set. They return four starters and 12 letterwinners to a team that went 16-14 overall and 9-7 in the MWC a year ago. This is the 31st meeting between the two schools. UNLV leads the series 19-11. The last time the two teams met was Sept. 22, 2009 as the Rebels defeated the Cowgirls 3-2 in Las Vegas. UNLV is coached by Allison Keeley.
