Wyoming Swimmers And Divers Battle For Team Bragging Rights

Junior (2013-14): Boyce saw limited action for the Cowgirls during her junior season appearing in three meets. She placed eighth in the 200 freestyle against Denver with a time of 1:59.57. Boyce earned a ninth place finish in the 50 freestyle against Colorado State with a time of 25.35.

Sophomore: (2012-13): Boyce saw Action in three meets during her first season with the Cowgirls. She earned a pair of third-place finishes in a dual meet against Northern Colorado, as she recorded a time of 55.35 in the 100 freestyle and a time of 2:00.29 in the 200 freestyle. Against UNC Boyce was also a part of the 200 freestyle relay that finished in first-place. In her collegiate debut in a dual against Colorado State, she earned a fourth-place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:58.30.

Freshman: (2011-12): Boyce saw limited action in the pool for the Cowgirls during her freshman season, but competed well in two meets. At the Citrus Classic, she finished the 200 freestyle in sixth place with a time of 1:58.84. Also at the Classic she swam in the 100 freestyle finishing 13th with a time of 56.30. As a member of the 400 freestyle relay squad she helped it to a second-place finish with a time of 3:37.88. At the Northern Colorado-Colorado School of Mines Triangular she recorded a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:59.48.

High School: Boyce is from Huntington Beach, Calif., and swam for Irvine NOVAquatics and Edison High School. She was a National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association Junior National qualifier in the 100 freestyle. She also swam on Irvine, Calif., NOVAquatics 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle relays at this summer's Junior National Championships in Irvine, Calif. She is a California Interscholastic Federation finalist in the 100 free. Boyce also was named most valuable player of her high school team her junior year. She helped her high school team to four consecutive Sunset League Championships. She excelled in the classroom, being named a scholar-athlete at Edison High.

Personal: Boyce was born on March 16, 1993 in Bakersfield, Calif. She is the daughter of Brent and Tonya. She has two older siblings, Evelyn and Reann, and one younger sister, Kylie. She is undecided about a major at UW.
