Sophomore (2013-14): Leidy appeared in five meets for the Pokes during his sophomore season. He swam a season-best time of 52.45 in the 100 butterfly in a dual meet against Denver. In a dual meet against Grand Canyon he finished third in the 200 butterfly with a season-best time of 1:58.37.

Freshman: (2012-13): Leidy saw limited action in his first season with the Cowboys seeing time in one meet during his freshman campaign. He made collegiate debut at the Air Force Academy Duals, as he finished sixth in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:03.06 and eighth in the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.50.

High School: Leidy is a native of Ashburn, Va., and joins the Pokes as a butterfly and individual medley swimmer. He swam at Broad Run HS and lettered all four years of high school. Leidy led Broad Run to district championships his freshman though junior seasons. He was also named First Team All-District his junior and senior seasons. His senior season he was First Team All-Region, team captain and his team's MVP. Also during his senior season he set the school records in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke as well as a member of the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relay teams. In 2012, Leidy was also a Junior National qualifier in the 100 and 200 butterfly as well as the 50 freestyle and 200 IM. In the classroom, he was named to the honor roll all four years of high school.

Personal: Leidy was born in Fairfax, Va., on Aug. 2, 1994. He is the son of Paul and Mary Leidy. He has two siblings Ryan and Katelyn. He plans to major in engineering at UW. He was also recruited by Cal Poly, Kenyon and Pacific.
