Kevin Bretting Continues Competition at NCAA Championships

Kevin Bretting had another solid day of competition at the 2007 NCAA Championships and placed 24th in the three-meter diving event, Friday afternoon in Minneapolis, Minn.
Bretting, a senior from Loveland, Colo., dove to his 24th place finish in a field of the 35 best divers in the nation. He finished with a cumulative score of 315.75 on six dives. Auburn's Steven Segerlin won the three-meter event by posting a score of 415.80. Ohio State's Kellen Harkness finished second (407.15) and Hawaii's Magnus Frick finished third (407.05).
Bretting will conclude his time at the NCAA Championships tomorrow when he competes in the platform diving event. The preliminaries will begin at 1:15 p.m. (MST) and the consolation finals will begin 20 minutes after the conclusion of the preliminaries. The platform finals will begin at 6 p.m.
