Wyoming Swimming and Diving Hosts UNLV in Final Home Dual of the Season

LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The University of Wyoming swimming and diving team will host UNLV in it's final home dual of the season, this Saturday at 12 p.m. at Corbett Pool.

Saturday will mark the final home dual for five Wyoming seniors. Grant Kritzinger, Kristin Lewis, Adam Miller, Bryce Perica and Scott Usher will all compete for the final time in their career's at Corbett Pool and will be recognized prior to the dual.

Over their careers, this senior class has recorded three All-American honors, produced an Olympic finalist, has won five individual Mountain West Championships, has recorded seven top-five all-time Wyoming performances, has been named Academic All-MWC ten times, has been named a MWC athlete of the week six times and recorded eight first team All-MWC selections and eight second team All-MWC selections.

The Cowgirls (3-1 overall) take their 2-0 MWC dual record into Saturday's dual with the UNLV Rebels. The UNLV women are currently 6-4 overall and 4-1 in the MWC and will compete at Air Force on Friday night before traveling to Laramie.

The Cowboys will see their first MWC dual action of the season against the Rebels. The Cowboys are 3-1 overall while the Rebels will hit the road with a 5-1 overall record and a 1-1 MWC mark. The UNLV men will also take on Air Force on Friday night before traveling to Laramie.

Earlier this season, both teams competed against UNLV in the 2004 UNLV Winter Invite. The men finished second (721.50) in the dual ahead of UNLV (642.50) who finished third. The UNLV women finished second (666) holding off the Cowgirls who finished third (544).
