LARAMIE, Wyo. -

University of Wyoming senior diver Mark Murdock will be competing in the 2010 AT&T National Diving Championships, in College Station, Texas beginning tomorrow August 10.

"This is a great experience for Mark, summer diving really will help him to excel during the upcoming season," said UW diving coach Pat Bukowski. "There are some very talented divers at this meet, which will really challenge Mark to increase his level of competition."

Murdock prequalified for the 10 meter platform with his 12th place finish last summer at the U.S. Senior National Diving Championships. He also qualified for the three meter springboard this summer at the USA Diving National Preliminary Zone C Diving Championships by placing seventh.

Murdock is the reigning Mountain West Conference champion in platform, and the UW and MWC record holder. He finished third in the 3-meter springboard at MWC this past year.
