He paced the field in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:40.99, and followed that performance with a mark of 4:38.42 in the 500-yard freestyle.
"I think this is a great honor for Ethan to receive, especially as a freshman," Wyoming head swimming coach Tom Johnson said. "He has really helped us in all of our meets so far this season."

The senior tallied 311.40 points on the 1-meter springboard to win the event and qualify for the NCAA zone meet. He also turned in a score of 297.90 to win the 3-meter springboard. This marks the second time in as many weeks that Bogner has received this honor.
"Kyle went out last weekend and put together a great performance," Wyoming diving coach Pat Bukowski said. "This is a tremendous honor for him to receive this two weeks in a row. He trains hard and deserves everything he receives."
