Personal, school records continue to drop for UW athletes
2012-13 Indoor: Earned career bests in both the shot put (48'-2") and weight throw (64'-7") at the Power Meet ... the 48'-2" shot put is UW's eighth-best all-time mark, while the 64'-7" weight throw is the No. 4 UW all-time distance for the event and was once 16th-best in the NCAA during the year ... both distances led the Cowgirls for the season ... achieved four consecutive first -place finishes in the weight throw to start the season ... at the MW Championships, earned fourth place in the weight throw (63'-3.50") and eighth place in the shot put at 46'-8" ... finished fifth in the shot put at the Holiday Inn Invite and fourth in the shot put at the Air Force Invite ... placed ninth in the weight throw at the Don Kirby Elite Invite before a 14th-place mark in the shot put at the meet.
2011-12
Shreese had a great true freshman season in 2012, breaking UW freshman records in the weight throw, hammer throw, and outdoor shot put. In the process she also moved to No. 10 in the weight, No. 6 outdoor shot put, No. 13 indoor shot put, and No. 15 hammer throw all-time in UW history. Shreese also qualified for the first round of the NCAA outdoor championships in the shot put.
