Fox is one of the best 400 meter sprinters in the nation heading into her senior season. She finished the regualar season last year ranked 28th in the nation in the 400 meters. She earned All-American honors for the second time in her career by placing 12th in the 400 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships last season. Placed first in the 200 meters and third in the 60 meters at the 2004 MWC indoor championships to earn All-Conference honors for the second straight year. Fox was a key member of the 4x400 relay team that earned UW's first ever trip to the 2004 NCAA Indoor Championships. That team would also set a new UW record of 3:31.87. Earned All-MWC honors at the 2004 Outdoor MWC Championships by placing second in the 200 meters and second on the 400 meters. Fox helped lead the Cowgirl 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams to appearances at the NCAA Championships, the first time UW has ever sent a relay team to the meet. Both teams set new UW records and the 4x400 team set a MWC record of 3:31.87. Fox had an incredible 2003 season. She won indoor and outdoor Mountain West Conference titles in the 400 meter dash, setting new UW and Mountain West Conference records in the process. She finished 11th at the 2003 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif., to become the first All-American Cowgirl sprinter in program history.
