2013-14: Indoors focused on the 400 meters...ran a season-best 56.27 at the Powder River Dual on Jan. 31...placed fifth in the event at the MW Championships...also helped Wyoming's 4x400-meter relay place fourth at the event...outdoors ran the 400-meter hurdles in two meets before suffering a season-ending injury.
2012-13: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
2011-12: Put together a great indoor season by qualifying for the MW Championships in the 60-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash with respective 11th and third-place marks while helping the 4x400 relay to fourth place ... earned a season-best 8.9 in the 60-meter hurdles at the AF Invite for 13th place ... her outdoor season was highlighted by qualifying for the NCAA West Preliminaries where she placed 44th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:02 ... at the MW Championships, placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best 59.8 ... had two first-place finishes during the outdoor season in the 400-meter hurdles.
2010-11: Kirby ended her freshman campaign with a bang, winning the 400-meter hurdles at the MW Outdoor Championships in 59.39 seconds ... became only the second freshman in MW history to win the event, and her time put her second on UW's all-time list ... the performance also qualified her for the NCAA West Preliminaries in which she finished 40th ... was proficient in the 400-meter dash and the 100- and 60-meter hurdles, earning her place on UW's top-10 all-time list in those events ... her accolades included being named All-MW and earning her first letter, along with Academic All-Conference honors.
Before Wyoming: A two-time All-Conference and All-State selection at Evanston High School ... in volleyball, earned Class 4A West Player of the Year and Wyoming 4A Player of the Year honors in 2009 ... helped her team to a 21-6 record and 9-1 in the 4A West Conference, while finishing second in the 4A state championship ... an excellent track and field athlete, she was a four-time All-Conference and All-State selection ... as a senior, finished first in four events to help her team to the 4A West Regional Championship ... followed that up with four first-place finishes at the 4A State Championships in the 100, 200, and 400 meters and the 100 and 300-meter hurdles, while helping her team to a fourth-place finish ... earned "Best of the Best" honors in all of those events except the 400, which is the fastest overall time in all classifications ... during her junior year, qualified for seven events at the 4A state track and field meet and placed first in three, again taking "Best of the Best" in all three ... in basketball, named First-Team Class 4A All-West Conference while averaging 9.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game ... team made it to state after finishing second at the 4A West Regionals ... as a junior, was selected Honorable Mention All-Conference ... an honor roll student, she was also a member of the National Honor Society.
