2012-13 Indoor: Competed at the MW Championships in the 60-meter dash (7th, 7.17), the long jump (9th, 22'-6.25") and triple jump (6th, 46'-11.50") ... earned second place in the triple jump at 47'-3" at the Power Meet ... achieved ninth place in the triple jump at the Holiday Inn Invite at 45'-9.75" ... came in fifth in the triple jump (46'-2") and eighth in the long jump (22'-6.50") at the AF Invite. Outdoor: Earned All-MW honors with a third-place finish in the long jump at the MW Championships at 23'-10.75" ... also competed in the triple jump and the 100-meter dash ... achieved CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 honors for achievements on track and classwork ... placed second in the long jump at 23'-2.75" at the Cowpoke Open ... finished ninth in the 100-meter in 10.59 at the Jack Christiansen Invite, where he also placed second in the long jump at 23'-9.50" ... achieved 18th place in the 100-meter in 10.74 at the Beach Invite and 22nd in the long jump at 22'-3.75" ... earned an eighth-place time of 10.91 in the 100-meter at the Nebraska Quad, where he also placed sixth in the long jump at 22'-9.75" and helped the 4x100 relay to fourth place in 42.12 ... placed second in the 100-meter in 10.85 at the Fum McGraw Quad, where he also finished third in the long jump at 22'-5.75" and assisted the 4x100 relay to second in 41.84 ... opened the outdoor season at the Tom Benich Invite, placing third in the 100-meter in 10.97 and fifth in the triple jump at 45'-2.25" ... named Academic All-MW and a MW Scholar Athlete.
Had a strong indoor season by placing fifth in the 60-meter dash at the Blue & Silver Meet and second in the triple jump at the Shine Meet ... helped the 4x400 relay to second place at the Power Meet ... outdoor season was highlighted by a fourth-place finish as a member of the 4x100 relay at the MW Championships where he was also part of the 4x400 relay team that placed sixth ... placed seventh in the 200-meter dash at the Jack Christiansen Invite and helped the 4x100 relay to first place at the same meet.
Battled injuries and only competed in three meets ... recorded a first-place finish in the long jump at the Jack Christiansen Invite with a jump of 23'-4" ... finished in the top 10 in all the events in which he competed ... earned Academic All-Conference and Scholar-Athlete accolades.
A do-everything athlete for the Cowboys, setting the team-high marks in several events ... was a stellar sprinter in both the 100- and 60-meter dashes and a critical part of the 4x100 relay that notched a time of 40.54 seconds ... also excels at the jumping events, evidenced by his performance at the MW Championships in the triple jump where he leaped to a mark of 50'-3.25" ... had the third-best mark in the long jump at 24'-3.50."
Competed in the first meet of the year where he won the triple jump and 55-meter dash, along with placing second in the long jump ... earned a medical redshirt.
One of the most successful track and field athletes to come out of Laramie HS with his dominating performances at the state championships throughout his career ... during the outdoor seasons, was an All-American his senior year as well as a state champion in four events his junior and senior years (100-meter, 200-meter, triple jump and long jump) ... set state records in the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash and the triple jump ... even more dominating during the indoor seasons, with seven individual state championships in three years in the 55-meter, 200-meter, triple jump and long jump ... set three state records in the 55-meter dash, the 200-meter dash and the triple jump ... academically, was on the National Honor Society all four years as well as maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
