2013-14: Competed in three meets during the indoor season...top showing in the 60-meter hurdles was 9.89...also did the high jump at several meets and the shot put once...did not compete outdoors.

Before Wyoming: A four-time state champion in the pole vault under coach Tom Meyer at Akron High School...as a senior won the state champion in the pole vault at 9-8, placed third in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.0 and placed fourth in the shot put at 36-11 to help lead her team to second place...she was named the Fred Steinmark High School Athlete of the Year...owned personal bests of 16.0 in the 100-meter hurdles, 50.6 in the 300-meter hurdles, 10-7 in the pole vault, 98-8 in the discus and 36-11 in the shot put...as a junior she won the pole vault, placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles and eighth in the shot put as her team finished third...as a sophomore she won the pole vault to help her team to second place...as a freshman she won the pole vault and placed seventh in the high jump as her team won the state title...also earned all-conference and all-state honors all four years in basketball and volleyball...earned two basketball state titles and was named MVP of the state tournament and 2A Player of the Year as a junior...was involved in numerous activities outside the classroom, including yearbook, FBLA, student council and National Honor Society.

Personal: The daughter of Troy and Mona Merrill...born on Nov. 10, 1994, in Fort Morgan, Colo...has one brother, Logan...also recruited by Northern Colorado, Colorado State and Chadron State...majoring in finance at UW.
