IRVINE, Calif. (AP) - Darren Moore had 15 points and seven rebounds Friday night to lead UC Irvine to an 83-68 victory over Wyoming.

Five Anteaters were in double figures. Derrick Strings made four of his seven 3-point attempts and finished with 14 points. Daman Starring also had 14 points, Patrick Rembert scored 13 and Eric Wise 12 for UC Irvine (5-4), which led 43-28 at the half.

The Anteaters were 10 of 18 from 3-point range while Wyoming was 5 for 22.

Djibril Thiam had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Wyoming (3-6). Francisco Cruz led the Cowboys with 14 points.

Desmar Jackson scored 12 points and Amath M'Baye 11 for Wyoming.

It was the first meeting between the schools.
