Cowboys and Horned Frogs Will Meet on Saturday Afternoon in the Arena-Auditorium

After three straight close losses for the Wyoming Cowboy basketball team, the Pokes will look to bounce back this Saturday afternoon when they host the TCU Horned Frogs. The game, which will be televised by The Mtn., is set to begin at 1:30 p.m. (MT).

Fellow sophomore Amath M'Baye has been especially hot for the Cowboys as of late. He has scored in double figures in six of UW's last eight games and matched his career high with 19 points at New Mexico on Wednesday night. M'Baye is averaging 10.7 points a game and is the MWC's ninth best rebounder and shot blocker with respective averages of 5.4 and 0.8. TCU's top player Ronnie Moss, who was averaging 15.7 points a game, has been suspended indefinitely and won't play in Saturday's game. The Frogs' roster features two other players who are averaging double figures in scoring. Sophomore forward Garlon Green is averaging 11.7 points and junior guard Hank Thorns is averaging 10.3 points a game. Thorns leads the MWC in assists with 6.5 per game. Junior J.R. Cadot leads the Frogs in rebounding with 5.7 per game, which is the seventh best average in the MWC.

Cruz has played all 40 minutes five times--vs. New Mexico, at TCU, vs. UNLV, vs. BYU and vs. Colorado State. He also played 39 minutes vs. Utah.
