Cowboys Host Indiana State in Mountain West-Missouri Valley Basketball Challenge

LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The second annual Mountain West-Missouri Valley Basketball Challenge will come to Laramie this Saturday evening as the Wyoming Cowboys will host the Indiana State Sycamores.
Game time is set for 5 p.m. from UW's Arena-Auditorium, following the Cowgirl basketball team's game with Idaho that begins at 12 p.m. The Cowboy game will be televised live on The Mtn.

Mountain West Leading Second Challenge 4-0:
The agreement between the Mountain West and Missouri Valley is in its second year of a four-year term. Nine Challenge Series games are played each year, and each conference will host a total of 18 games in the four-year period. Last year, the Missouri Valley won the series, 5-4.
About Indiana State:
Indiana State is under first-year head coach Greg Lansing. The Sycamores finished 17-15 in 2009-10 and posted a 9-9 mark in the Missouri Valley, which was good for a sixth-place tie. They welcome back two starters and seven letterwinners from that team.

For this Saturday's game versus Indiana State, there will be a Family Day ticket special. For $44, fans will get four game tickets, four hotdogs, four Pepsis and 10 percent off at the Brown and Gold Outlet.
Saturday will also be faculty and staff appreciation day. UW faculty and staff can get into both the Cowboy and Cowgirl game for just $10. They can also get a free bag of popcorn by stopping by the ticket office and picking up a coupon.
