UW This Season: Julian Hawkins will provide depth at the cornerback position for the Cowboys during the 2011 campaign.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: Hawkins was a two-year starter at running back and defensive back during his junior and senior seasons under coach Justin Hoffman at Gateway High School. Hawkins earned All-Conference honors in his final two years while guiding his team to two playoff appearances and a city championship. In the classroom, he was on the honor roll for two years and also participated in the Colorado Beautillion.

Personal: The son of Marti and Alphonso Hawkins, Julian has one younger brother, Alexander. He is majoring in civil engineering.
