UW This Season:Darden joins the Wyoming Football program as a transfer from Colorado after graduating from CU and having one year of eligibility remaining.

Prior to UW: Darden was a receiver on the CU roster for three seasons.

High School: He played high school football in Keller, Texas. He was a part of the PrepStar All-Midlands Region and the SuperPrep All-Southwest Region teams despite not playing his senior season due to an ankle injury. After his junior season, he was the 37th-best player overall on the Dallas Morning News Top 100 list and was ranked the No. 71 wide receiver in the nation by and No. 74 by He earned honorable-mention All-State and first-team All-District (55A) as a junior when he had 46 receptions for 739 yards and 14 TDs. He also played basketball and participated in track & field. His career-best high jump was 6-4 as a junior.

Personal: Darden was born Nov. 18, 1990, and his father, Jack, played defensive end at Texas A&M. He is pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism at UW.
