UW This Season: Stover showed nice progress, and finished as the No. 3 running back on the depth chart following spring drills.
2013: Playing in four games, Stover contributed 10 rushes for 39 yards. He averaged 3.7 yards per rush and had a long run of 11 yards.
High School: Stover comes to Wyoming from Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Ill. He was named to the 2012 Illinois Football Coaches Association All-State Team for Class 8A, the largest classification in Illinois. Stover also earned All-Area honors his senior season. He rushed for 1,012 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior, while leading Bolingbrook to a 7-4 record and the second round of the state playoffs. As a junior in 2011, he started on a Bolingbrook team that captured the state championship with a 13-1 record. He played for head football coach John Ivlow.
Personal: Born Jan. 30, 1995, he is one of five children of Wanda Morgan and Omar Stover. He was also recruited by Bowling Green, Ole Miss and Western Michigan. He is pursuing a degree in criminal justice at UW.
