University of Wyoming Football Announces Three Mid-Year Signees

Two student-athletes have international background

High School: Kevin Robertson was named to the Houston Top 100 by the Houston Chronicle -- a list of the Top 100 high school football recruits in the Houston metro area in the fall of 2010. Robertson was named to the TAPPS DII All-State First Team and the TAPPS DII All-District 4 First Team for private schools. He was also named the District MVP. He caught 69 passes for 1,498 yards and 25 receiving touchdowns his senior season. He also had four TDs rushing. As a linebacker on defense, Robertson was credited with 64 total tackles, 3.0 tackles for losses, 1.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, one interception and one pass breakup. He helped lead his Northland Christian team to an 8-5 record and the second round of the state playoffs. As a junior, Robertson earned First Team All-District, while catching 31 passes for 562 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 73 total tackles from his linebacker position, two interceptions and one forced fumble. A multi-talented athlete, he lettered in football four years, basketball two years and track and field four years. He played for head football coach David Nelson.

Personal: The son of Venee' and Kevin Robertson, he has two older siblings, Tavia Robertson-Gamboa and Blaire Robertson. He was also recruited by North Texas and TCU.
