UW This Season: Simpson was second at the Z receiver spot on the depth chart following spring drills.

2014: Appeared in two games for the Cowboys, but did not record any statistics. 2013: Simpson added valuable depth to the wide receiver group for UW but did not play in any games.

2012: Redshirted.

High School: Simpson had a decorated high school career, and was a standout in three sports - basketball, track and football. He excelled on the gridiron, earning All-Conference for three seasons and All-State for two. He was a Casper Star-Tribune Super 25 selection both his junior and senior years, and was named the male recipient of the Milward Simpson Award, given to the best all-around athlete in Wyoming each year. He was an honor roll student and an academic award winner.

Personal: Born Dec. 3, 1993, he is the son of Steve and Jenny Simpson. He has two siblings, Jayson and Kobey. He is pursuing a degree in psychology at UW.
