LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Coach Christensen and his staff will participate in a recruiting reception in the Wildcatter, that also will be open to the public, immediately following the press conference. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served.

Wednesday, Feb. 2, is the first day football recruits are allowed to sign national letters of intent.

That evening the Wyoming men's basketball team will host nationally-ranked BYU in a game beginning at 6 p.m.

The schedule of events for football signing day is as follows.

1. Football Signing Day Press Conference, 2:30 p.m., Mountain Time
-Head Coach Dave Christensen will open with comments about the 2011 Wyoming Recruiting Class.
-Video Highlights of the 2011 Recruiting Class. Each assistant coach will narrate the video highlights of his recruits.
-The press conference will be streamed live on a pay-per-view subscription basis at WyomingAthletics.com through its All-Access multimedia service.
-Following the video highlight presentation, Coach Christensen and assistant coaches will be available for one-on-one interviews with media.

2. Recruiting Reception Open to the Public Immediately Following Press Conference
-Beverages and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be available.

3. Coach Christensen Will be Available on a Conference Call for Media 4:30 p.m.
-This conference call is for media who were unable to attend the press conference.
-Media wishing to connect to the conference call may contact Tim Harkins at the UW Athletic Media Relations Office at (307) 766-2256.

4. The press release of Wyoming's 2011 recruiting class along with the video highlights of all of the recruits will be accessible on WyomingAthletics.com later on Wednesday afternoon.

5. Wyoming vs. BYU Men's Basketball game 6:00 p.m.

There will be three other public events during the month of February featuring Coach Christensen that will allow Cowboy fans an opportunity to talk about this year's recruiting class and the season ahead. Those other events are:

-Laramie County Cowboy Joe Club and Cheyenne Quarterback Club Football Reception Thursday, Feb. 10, The Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, Wyo., 5:45 p.m., Call (307) 630-9200 to R.S.V.P.

-Cowboys in Colorado Cowboy Joe Club to hold a Wyoming Football Recruiting Reception on Thursday, Feb. 17, Dave & Buster's in Denver, Colo. (I-25 and Colorado Blvd.), 6:30 p.m.

-Natrona County Cowboy Joe Club to hold a Wyoming Football Recruiting Reception on Thursday, Feb. 24, Casper Country Club, Casper, Wyo., 6:00 p.m.
