Super Bowl weekend always stimulates a number of trivia questions and lists. One of those trivia lists was highlighted on Rivals.com on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009. The story, titled "Super Bowl Scorers: Where'd They Go To School?" lists the University of Wyoming ranked in a tie for No. 9 on the list, with three former Cowboys having scored touchdowns in past Super Bowls.
The three Cowboys were: running back Jerry Hill, who scored a TD for the Balitmore Colts; running back Jim Kiick, who scored a Super Bowl TD for the Miami Dolphins; and tight end Jay Novacek, who scored two Super Bowl touchdowns during his career with the Dallas Cowboys.
The school that leads the way in number of alumni who have scored Super Bowl TDs is the University of Miami (Fla.), who has had eight former Hurricanes score a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
