ROOT SPORTS to Televise Five Wyoming Football Games in 2013

LARAMIE, Wyo. -
ROOT SPORTS announced on Wednesday that five University of Wyoming football games will be televised by ROOT SPORTS this upcoming season. The five Wyoming games will be featured as part of a 10-game Mountain West Conference football package on the network this year. This will mark ROOT SPORTS' inaugural season as the official regional television partner of the Mountain West, and exemplifies the network's commitment to providing superior college sports coverage in the Rocky Mountain region. It is the second consecutive season that select Wyoming games have been carried on ROOT SPORTS. All of the telecasts will be produced in high definition.
Wyoming's home opener versus the Idaho Vandals on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 2 p.m., M.T., will be the first of the five Wyoming telecasts on ROOT SPORTS. On Saturday, Oct. 12 at 1:30 p.m., Wyoming's home game against New Mexico will also be carried on the network. The following week, the 105th meeting in the "Border War" series versus archrival Colorado State will be telecast live from Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Noon.
The final two Wyoming games on ROOT SPORTS in 2013 will be road games at San Jose State on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m., M.T., and at Utah State on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Noon, M.T., to conclude the regular season.

The other five games in the 2013 ROOT SPORTS Mountain West football package will all be Saturday games and will include: Aug. 31, Colgate at Air Force (1 p.m., M.T.); Oct. 5, New Mexico State at New Mexico (5 p.m., M.T.); Oct. 19 Utah State at New Mexico (7 p.m., M.T.); Nov. 2, New Mexico at San Diego State (6 p.m., M.T.); and Nov. 16, Colorado State at New Mexico (5 p.m., M.T.).
