'Friday Nite Pep Rally' to Broadcast Live From Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium On Eve of New Mexico Game

LARAMIE, Wyo. -
MountainWest Sports Network - will televise its "Friday Nite Pep Rally" live from War Memorial Stadium on Friday night, Oct. 12 from 8:00-8:30 p.m. The show will focus on the University of Wyoming Football program, and will also preview the weekend's upcoming Mountain West Conference games.
All Cowboy fans are invited to attend and be a part of the rally and live TV audience. The event will take place in the stands at the the southwest corner of War Memorial Stadium.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the southwest corner of War Memorial, Qdoba will serve food to the first 200 UW students in attendance at the pep rally.
On Saturday, The Mtn. will provide live coverage of Wyoming's homecoming game against the New Mexico Lobos.
During the pep rally, Mtn. football analyst Jon Berger, play-by-play announcer Rich Cellini and football sideline reporter Andrea Lloyd will interview Stinson, Medina, Betschart and Coach Glenn. Stinson and Medina will also participate in a tailgating cooking segment with The Mtn.'s own Scott Sarra.
The "Friday Nite Pep Rally" show is a series of live 30-minute broadcasts that are shot onsite at MWC stadiums before key match-ups. The "Friday Nite Pep Rally" series is sponsored by ZAGG Inc.
The pep rally will include appearances by the Wyoming Cheerleaders and Wyoming's mascot, Pistol Pete. "Western Thunder," the University of Wyoming Marching Band, will entertain the crowd. Fans can also participate in a contest to see who can stretch ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD the most. Earlier in the day, fans can square off against a crew from The Mtn. that is participating in a traditional car push competition. Winners of the car push competition will be recognized during the pep rally when everyone will get a look at video highlights from the contest.
