2015-16 (Sophomore): Arron Lickteig played in all but one tournament for UW during his sophomore season. He played 30 rounds with a stroke average of 74.3 for the year. Lickteig had two top-20 finishes for the Pokes, as he tied for 16th in each tournament. At the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, he shot a 216 (+6), while at the Arizona National Invitational Tournament, Lickteig recorded a 214 (-2). At the MW Championship, he tied for 30th with a 219 (+3).

2014-15 (Redshirt Freshman):
Lickteig played in eight events as an individual for the Cowboys and made his way into the lineup twice during his frsehman season. He averaged 76 strokes throughout the season as he played in 29 total rounds. His top performance came when he tied for 28th place at the Battle in the Tetons and also at the Cowboys Southern Dunes. He fired a 228 (+12) at Battle in the Tetons and a 227 (+11) at the Cowboy Southern Dunes. Lickteig shot his career-low 70 (-2) in the first round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic and finished with his lowest tournament score of 216 (E). Lickteig made his first trip to the Mountain West Championship in Tucson, Ariz., and finished in 53rd place with a total score of 231 (+18).

2013-14: Redshirted.

High School: Arron Lickteig joins the Cowboys as six-year letterwinner at Freeman High School in Freeman, S.D. He had an excellent prep career under Ryan Mors and Britni Johnson. The highlight of Lickteig's prep career was a South Dakota state individual championship his junior season. He also earned two runner-up finishes as an eighth grader, sophomore and senior. He was a four-time All-State selection. As a junior he won the Sioux Empire Junior Tournament. Also excelled on the football field as a three-year letterwinner and earned All-Cornbelt Conference honorable mention. Excelled in the classroom at Freeman High School as a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Lickteig was born on October 16, 1994. He is the son of Chris and Gwen and has a sister, Courtney. He plans on majoring in petroleum engineering at UW.
