LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The Wyoming Cowboy golf team is finishing preparations to host the 10th-annual Wyoming Cowboy Classic, on Monday and Tuesday April 9-10, at the Talking Stick North Course in Scottsdale, Ariz. The event will play 54 holes over two days with two 18-hole rounds on Monday and one 18-hole round on Tuesday. Play will begin on Monday at 7:30 a.m. PT.
"I am very appreciative of our sponsors Cleveland Golf, the Talking Stick and Troon Golf," Wyoming head coach Joe Jensen said. "The staffs of all our sponsors are great to us. This tournament has become a national event like the Desert Intercollegiate and we are very proud to host such a great event. The golf course is in great condition and we have a great field again. We are thrilled that the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic is just up the road from us and there is some buzz about both of these tournaments here in the desert. I really want my guys to go out play hard and have our best finish of the spring."
