2014-15: Tribble added depth to the upper weight classes during his junior season. He posted a record of 6-10 on the year. He added one pin and one technical fall.
2013-14: Adding valuable depth to the upper weights, Tribble posted a 12-7 mark as a redshirt freshman for the Pokes. He placed in four of the five open tournaments in which he competed. He was fourth in the Northwest Open at 197, following that up with a third-place finish in the UNC Old Chicago Open. He was tops in the Utah Valley Open, and fourth in the U.S. Western National Open to end the year. Tribble had one pin and one major decision.
Prior to UW: Tribble was at Western State for one season. He finished eighth in the 211.5-pound weight class for the Mountaineer Wrestling Club at FILA Junior Nationals in freestyle in April 2013.
High School: He finished second at the Colorado state Class 5A wrestling championships at 195 pounds. On the football field, he registered 68 tackles and eight sacks as a senior.
Personal: Tribble was born in Hampton, Va., and he is the son of Carmen Tribble. His mother Carmen ran track at Colorado State University, while his aunt, Santiaga Whilloughby, ran track at the Air Force Academy.
