2014-15: Templeman had a strong sophomore campaign for the Pokes. He finished the season with a 19-11 overall record going 10-5 in duals. He recorded one pin and technical fall and added three major decisions. He was a Third Team All-WWC selection winning his final two matches of the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championship. Recorded a six match winning streak during the season, which including going 3-0 at the Journeyman/ASICS Northeast Duals.
2013-14: Despite wrestling for much of the fall semester, Templeman struggled with an arm injury sustained early in the year. He saw action in three duals, helping UW defeat Boise State with a 3-2 decision in his first career dual. He competed versus Minnesota and in the Las Vegas Invitational, but was shut down after the Oklahoma State dual for the remainder of the year. He finished 4-6 and 1-2 in duals.
2012-13: Wrestling unattached as a redshirt, Templeman began the season on a 16-0 tear with three tournament crowns. With a final 25-5 mark, he finished tied for fourth on the team in total wins and tied for first with 10 major decisions. Twelve of his wins came via bonus points.
He was first in the Cowboy, Northwest, UNK Holiday Inn and Utah Valley Opens, and was sixth in the Reno Tournament of Champions. He finished his season with a 2-2 showing in the National Collegiate Open, a tournament for some of the nation's top redshirts and wrestlers not competing in their school's NCAA qualifier.
High School: Templeman dominated during his high school wrestling career, and came away with four-straight Washington state titles. He was named Athlete of the Year for Pierce County in 2012, shortly after he completed his four-peat. Orting won the team wrestling title in Templeman's senior season. He earned Athlete of the Month honors each season.
Personal: Templeman was born in Puyallup, Wash., and is the son of Steve and Joanne Templeman. He has one sibling, Bryce. He has not decided on a major at UW. Templeman also received interest from Oregon State and Arizona State.
