Ford enters his second season as the assistant director of player development on the Wyoming wrestling staff in 2015-16. Ford was a key member of the Cowboy staff that helped the Pokes to an 11-4 overall dual record in 2014-15 and also sent six wrestlers to the NCAA Championships.

Ford wears many hats for the UW wrestling program. He works with the Cowboys academics and works with the Pokes strength and conditioning. Ford also plays a role with donor cultivation and student-athlete recruiting. He is also a key member of the Cowboys travel planning and budget. Ford serves as the tournament director for the highly successful Cowboy Open.

A former UW wrestler, Ford was 24-27 for his career and qualified for the NCAA Championships in 2012-13. He helped the Pokes win the Western Wrestling Conference team title with his 141-pound crown at the event as a senior. In his first trip to NCAAs, he went 1-2. He was a very accomplished wrestler in junior college becoming a two-time NJCAA All-American at Northwest College.

He is married to former UW soccer player Ellen McCormick. He is a 2013 graduate of Wyoming majoring in sociology.
