Wyoming Brings Home Four Titles At Cowboy Open

2010-11: Sterling redshirted his first season in the UW program and went 6-12 at 149 and 157 pounds in six open tournaments. He earned one major decision and one technical fall.

High School: Sterling attended Altus High School where he was an Oklahoma 5A State Finalist as a senior, earning All-State honors. He was a three-time district champion and a regional runner-up as a senior.

His Altus team was also state runner-up, as well as three-time district champions. He was captain of his high school wrestling team in both his junior and senior seasons.

Sterling also lettered in football for three years and in track as a senior. On the football field he was an All-District safety and running back his senior year, as well as team captain in his final season.

He was an Honor Roll student, was involved in Student Council and was named an All-American Scholar.

Personal: Trevor was born in San Diego, Calif., on March 25, 1992. His parents are George and Lorriane Woodhouse. His two siblings are Diquon and Tisay. Trevor's field of study at UW is criminal justice.
