UW This Season: A three-year starter and three-time All-Conference selection after being named Second Team All-MWC in 2001-02...a dominate player and one of the top players at her position in the league, she is the Cowgirls leading honors candidate this season...one of the Cowgirls four returning starters...the leading scorer and shot blocker on the team last season, she will look to move up in several career categories in school history in 2002-03...has led the Cowgirls in scoring three out of the past four seasons.

Redshirt Junior (2001-02): Started in 27 games, while playing in all 28 games during the season for the Cowgirls...averaged 28.5 minutes per contest...was first on the team and seventh in the conference in scoring (13.3 ppg), which earned her Second Team All-MWC honors...was also second on the team in rebounding (6.3 rpg) and steals (1.4 spg), along with the addition of two assists per game...ranked sixth in rebounding in the MWC...shot 43% (141-331) from the field and 72% (82-114) from the charity stripe...had a season high 31 points in the victory over Nevada (12/1/01)...recorded her first double-double of the season with 21 points and ten rebounds in the victory against Florida Atlantic (11/25/01)...had an impressive outing against Sacramento State (11/18/01) as she returned after redshirting in 2000-01...scored 20 points, had seven rebounds in 29 minutes of play in that game...was 7-16 (.438) from the field and 6-7 (.857) from the charity stripe in her first start of the season...also recorded two assists, one block and four steals...with 17 points against Northern Arizona, she moved into the Top 10 in school history in points and currently ranks eighth with 1248 points in her career...needs only 12 rebounds to move into 10th place in that category...has also moved in the Top 10 in field goals and attempts, free throws and attempts, along with steals...eclipsed the 1000 point mark in the victory over UT Pan American (12/21/01)...scored in double-figures in 21 of 28 games during the year, including a stretch of nine games in a row, along with six double-doubles...for her career, has scored in double-figures 66 times and has a total of 20 double-doubles...an Academic All-Conference, Scholar-Athlete and Second Team All-Academic District VII selection for the second time in her career.

Junior (2000-01): Redshirted during the 2000-01 season.

Sophomore (1999-2000): The Cowgirls' leading scorer and rebounder after averaging 17.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per contest, which earned her First Team All-Mountain West Conference honors...started in every game for the Cowgirls in 1999-2000 and 54 consecutive games in her career...averaged 35.6 minutes per contest...finished the season ranked second in scoring and third in rebounding in the conference...shot 48% from the field and 76% from the free-throw line, which ranked tenth and eighth in the conference...had a career high 34 points against UNLV (3/4/00), plus a career high 18 rebounds against Montana State-Billings (12/11/99)...scored in double-figures in 26 of 28 games during the year, including a stretch of 14 consecutive games...also had ten double-doubles on the season...was the MVP of the game against MSU-Billings at the Wyoming Shoot-Out...earned MWC Player of the Week honors for Feb. 28...was selected Second Team GTE All-Academic District VII, Academic All-MWC and a MWC-Scholar Athlete.

Freshman (1998-99): Started in every game for the Cowgirls as a true freshman...her first collegiate start was against Creighton (11/13/98)...led the team in scoring with 14.6 points, which ranked eighth in the conference...finished second on the team in rebounding with 6.4 per contest...ranked in the Top 15 in rebounding in the conference as a true freshman...also led the Cowgirls in steals and blocked shots with 1.8 and .69 per game...averaged 31.4 minutes as a starter...shot 41% from the field and 78% from the free throw line...had a season high 28 points against Tulsa (2/4/99), plus a season high 13 rebounds against Air Force (1/30/99) and TCU (2/13/99)...was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Air Force Academy Classic...earned Second Team All-WAC and All-Newcomer Team honors.

High School: A three-year starter at Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colo...averaged 14.6 points and 12 rebounds her junior season...was a First Team All-League, All-State and All-Tournament selection three times...named the Gazette Telegraph 4A Player of the Year as a junior and senior...was a member of the Colorado 4A State Championship runner-up team for three years in a row...an excellent student, was on the honor roll list...earned four letters in basketball...coached in high school by Butch Thorpe...selected Wyoming over several schools including Colorado State and Oregon State.

Personal: Born April 8, 1980 in Kemmerer, Wyo...has a twin sister Christy, who played for the Cowgirls from 1999-2002...one of two children of Jan Bacon...majoring in exercise and sport science.
