Cowgirl Basketball Kicks Off 2011-12 Exhibition Season

Wyoming returns one starter, five letterwinners

Sophomore (2012-13): Played in her first regular season game against Eastern Michigan (12/1/12)...brought down one rebound in that game...played in eight games total on the year...recorded three rebounds and had three points against Air Force (1/26/13)...had two points, one rebound and one steal against Nevada (1/12/13)...played eight minutes and scored a season high four points against South Dakota Mines (1/3/13)...in limited action, she scored three points and had two rebounds the exhibition game against Dakota Wesleyan (10/29/12)...played six minutes and had two points against Regis (11/5/12).

Freshman (2011-12): Saw action in 16 games off the bench for the Cowgirls...played in her first career game against Utah State (11/11/11)...averaged 1.1 points and 1.0 rebound per game...in league games, she averaged 1.8 points and 1.2 boards...scored her first career points against Chadron State (11/17/11)...recorded a career high eight rebounds in 18 minutes against Denver (11/14/11)...finished with four points and one blocked shot against Northern Iowa (11/25/11)...had two rebounds in 16 minutes of play against UNLV (1/11/12)...in 16 minutes against Air Force, she was 3-5 (.600) from the field to finish with a career high nine points...saw limited action in the exhibition game against Western State (11/4/11)...played five minutes in the Cowgirls first exhibition game against CSU-Pueblo (10/28/11)...recorded two points and one rebound...led the team once in rebounding...for the first time in her career, she earned Academic All-MW and Scholar Athlete honors.

High School: A three-time All-Conference selection while attending Thompson Valley High School...also earned All-Area honors three straight seasons and was named Honorable Mention All-State as a junior and senior...in 2011, she helped lead her team to an 18-7 overall record, a third place conference finish and a spot in the Sweet 16 in the Colorado State Tournament...her team recorded a 17-8 record overall and 12-6 in the Northern Conference, while averaging 13.2 points in 2010...during her sophomore campaign, the team went 17-8 overall and played their way into the Sweet 16 of the Colorado 4A State championship bracket...they would fall to the eventual State Champion Mullen High School...was coached by Chad Walker...an excellent student, she was a member of the honor roll throughout high school.
