LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team played their final exhibition game and earned a 64-33 win against the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves, on Wednesday night, in Laramie.
"I thought the difference in the basketball game tonight was our play defensively," said UW head coach Joe Legerski. "We really got after them, shut down some passing lanes and created some steals which led to easy baskets. That was a key because we didn't shoot the ball particularly well from the perimeter. Defensively, it was an extremely well played game."

Wyoming responded with a 16-2 scoring run to extend the lead to 15 points, 34-9. The ThunderWolves finally broke double figures at the 1:45 minute mark, but he Cowgirls till took a 36-13 lead in to the locker room.
