Probable Starters: Here are the probable starters for this week's games:


Guard Brenda Pickup, Fr., 5-7, Brush Prairie, Wash. Guard Shelby Hoffman, Sr., 5-9, Gillette, Wyo. Forward Christy Bacon, Jr., 6-0, Colorado Springs, Colo. Forward Jessica Gibbs, Sr., 6-1, Wells, Nev. Center Ann McColl, So., 6-2, Everett, Wash.

This Week: The Cowgirls will host New Mexico on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m., and then Air Force on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Both games will be played in the MultiPurpose Gym.

About New Mexico: The Cowgirls will host the New Mexico Lobos on Thursday night. The Lobos are currently 12-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play. They are led by sophomore Jordan Adams, who is averaging 16.9 points and 6.3 rebounds. This is the 38th meeting between the two schools, New Mexico leads the series 19-18. The last time these two teams met was Feb. 24, 2000 in Albuquerque, when the Lobos came out on top with a 88-52 victory. The Lobos are coached by Don Flanagan, who is in his sixth season.

About Air Force: In the second game of the weekend, the Cowgirls will the Air Force Academy Falcons. The Falcons currently have an 3-13 overall record and a 0-3 conference mark. They are led by Morgan Bennett, who is averaging 10.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest. This is the 18th meeting between the two schools, Wyoming leads the series 16-1. The last time these two teams met was Feb. 26, 2000 in Colorado Springs, with Wyoming coming out on top with a 62-48 victory. The Falcons are coached by Sue Darling, who is in her third season at Air Force.
