This Week: The Cowgirls will be on the road this week. They will take on the Air Force Academy on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m., and then New Mexico, Saturday night, at 7:00 p.m.

About Air Force: The Cowgirls will face the Air Force Academy Falcons on Thursday night. The Falcons are 3-20 overall and 0-10 in the conference. They are led by junior Rozalyn Russ, who is averaging 9.5 points and 6.4 rebounds. As a team, they are shooting 36% from the field and 67% from the charity stripe. This is the 19th meeting between the two teams, Wyoming leads the series 17-1. The last time these two teams met was Jan. 27, 2001 in Laramie with the Cowgirls coming out on top, 58-54. The Falcons are coached by Sue Darling, who is in her third season.

About New Mexico: The Cowgirls will close out the weekend against the New Mexico Lobos. The Lobos are currently 14-10 overall and 5-5 in conference play. Sophomore center Jordan Adams leads the way for New Mexico, averaging 15.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. They are averaging 43% from the field and 68.8 points per game. This is the 39th meeting between the two schools, New Mexico leads 20-18. The last time these two teams met was Jan. 25, 2001 in Laramie, with the Lobos coming out on top, 57-53. New Mexico is coached by Don Flanagan, who is in his sixth season.
