The Wyoming basketball team will play their final home game of the season on Tuesday, March 4, as they welcome the Utah State Aggies. The game is set to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium. The Cowgirls will honor seniors Kaylee Hoffman, Chelan Landry and Fallon Lewis prior to the game. The Cowgirls are 19-8 overall and 10-6 in MW action after a 72-59 loss against Boise State, on Saturday afternoon. Kayla Woodward is averaging a team high 17.8 points plus 7.1 rebounds, while Fallon Lewis is adding 14.5 points and a team high 9.4 rebounds. Kaitlyn Mileto follows with 13.6 points and Marquelle Dent leads the way with 4.7 assists plus 9.9 points per game. In league games, Woodward is tied for second in scoring (18.3 ppg) and eighth in rebounding (7.1 rpg). Mileto is currently tenth in scoring with 13.7 points per game, while Lewis leads the league in rebounding with 9.6 per game.

Wyoming is second in the league in assists (16.0 aspg), third in scoring offense (73.7 ppg) and scoring defense (64.3 ppg), plus fourth in rebounding margin. They are also shooting 182-513 (.355) from beyond the arc and 694-1627 (.427) from the field, which are first and second respectively. In Mountain West games, they are second in assists and field goal percentage, third in three-point field percentage, scoring offense and scoring defense.

Utah State is 13-15 overall and 7-10 in MW play. Last time out, the Aggies earned a 96-67 win over San Jose State. They are led by Jennifer Schlott who is averaging a league high 26.1 points plus 3.9 rebounds. Elise Nelson is adding a team high 6.6 rebounds plus 5.7 points per contest. They return three starters and six letterwinners to a team that went 18-14 overall and 14-4 in the WAC last year.

This will be 21st meeting between the two schools. Wyoming leads the series 14-6. The last time the two teams met was Feb. 1, 2014 as the Aggies defeated UW, 80-75, in Logan. Utah State is coached by Jerry Finkbeiner who is in his second year with the program.
