Saturday's game time for the Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team's opening matchup of the 2006 Women's National Invitational Tournament has been changed to a 7:00 p.m. tip time rather than the original time. The change was due to WNIT travel requirements for the opposing team.

The WNIT game, presented by Laramie GM Auto Center, will match the Cowgirls against the winner of the Oregon State (15-14 overall)/Santa Clara (19-11 overall) game, which will be played on Thursday night in Corvallis, Oregon.

Wyoming finished the regular season with an overall mark of 20-8 and 10-6 in the Mountain West Conference. They placed three players on the All-MWC Team, along with the Newcomer of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year.

The Cowboy Joe Club will host a pre-game reception from 5 - 6:30 p.m. in the Stadium Club Room, located in the southwest corner of War Memorial Stadium (formerly the weight room). All fans are invited to attend and admission is free to all Cowboy Joe Club members and there will be a $5 charge for non-members. Tommy Jack's & Powder River Rib Co. will be serving meals for $5 per plate. All water and soda is free of charge. There will be no alcoholic beverages served.

Tickets for the game are on sale now at WNIT Tickets or by calling the Wyoming Ticket Office at 800-922-9461. Prices are $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and a youth ticket is $4.00. All seating is general admission.

Please note Senior Poke Passes and Cowboy Joe Club Cards cannot be used to gain admission.
