2013-14 (Senior): Wood was one of the Cowgirls' leaders in her final season with the program. She tied for the team lead in rounds played with 30 with a scoring average of 78.6, which ranked third on the team. Her highest finish came at the Price's "Give `Em Five" Intercollegiate finishing 17th with a score of 222 (+6). Wood recorded a career-best round at the event shooting a 72 (E). In the season opener at the CSU Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic she finished tied for 35th at 229 (+13). She recorded a 74 (+2) in the final round of the Mountain View Collegiate tying for the lowest score by a Cowgirl during the spring season. She also competed in the MW Championship finishing tied for 41st at 246 (+30).

2012-13 (Junior): Emily Wood was Wyoming's most consistent performer during the season, as her 79.0 strokes per round led the Cowgirls. She was UW's top finisher at four tournaments, including a 238 (+22) to tie for 24th place at the Mountain West Championship. She also finished in UW's top two in seven events. She notched three top-25 finishes during the season, including her best showing of a 15th-place tie at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate with a season-low 227 (+11). She shot a season-low 75 (+3) six times during the season and had just two rounds above 85.

2011-12 (Sophomore): After playing in UW's lineup just once in the fall, Wood enjoyed a breakout season in the spring during which she played in all six events and finished in UW's top three four times. She averaged 79.7 strokes in 24 rounds of action during the season. Her top performance was a 222 (+6) at the spring's MountainView Collegiate to finish tied for 29th place as UW's second scorer. She fired her career low of 73 (+1) twice during the event. Wood also finished second on the team at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic with a 234 (+18). She totaled eight rounds under 80 during the spring, after shooting just two during the fall. After the season, Wood was named to the Academic All-MW team.

2010-11 (Freshman): Wood played in six tournaments, three in the spring and three in the fall, for Wyoming during her first season in the program. She carded 18 rounds and averaged 80.6 strokes per round to finish in UW's top four three times. Her low score of the season was a 233 (+17) during the fall at the Portland State/Oregon State Invite, after a season-low 73 (+1) in the third round of the event. Wood's highest individual finish was 29th with a 237 (+21) at the CU/Heather Farr Memorial during the fall.

High School: Wood won a letter four years straight in golf, and added two letters in volleyball and basketball while at Salida High. She was all-conference each year, and her team won the Class 4A state championship in her junior and senior year. Wood was named a team captain all four years, and was an honor roll student each year of high school.

Personal: Emily was born Oct. 17 in Flagler, Colo., to Chad and Beth Wood. She is studying communications at UW.
