"We had a great second day of the tournament", said head coach Jill Rettinger. "We had the low round of the tournament, and the girls put up great second day scores. Our first day score didn't show how we can play, but we had a great comeback and we were able to finish in third place," Rettinger added.

Sophomore Bailey Adcock fired a career low one-over par 73 on her final round. Adcock was in 23rd place coming into todays' round of 18, but after knocking 13 strokes off her score she finished in a tie for fourth place.

"Bailey shot an excellent round today", Rettinger said. She has been consistant for us all year, and it was good for her to finish up the fall season on a high note."

Finishing just four strokes behind Adcock and in a tie for eighth place were the two freshman Michelle Camaione and Kayla Morrison. They shot a163 (+19) for the two day event. Other finishers for UW was junior Shala Hanson who also finished in the top 20, and senior Ashley Cariveau. As a team the Cowgirls shot a 654 (+78) for the tournament.

"This was a great tournament to end the fall season with, hopefully we can bring the consistancy and momentum with us into the spring season," said Rettinger.

The host team Cal-Poly took home the team crown with a score of 72-over par 648. Kyle Safford from CSU-San Marcos was able to hold on to her lead despite dropping eight strokes today. She finished with a 12-over par 156 to win the tournament.
