2011: Sophomore: McCormick appeared in all 22 Cowgirl games last season and started nine. For the second consecutive season, she took the second-most shots on the team with 41. The sophomore forward, put 19 shots on goal, scoring one goal and assisting on another for three total points. Her goal and assist both came in the Cowgirls 5-1 victory over Air Force the last game of the regular season. Her three total points tied for eighth-most on the team. She earned her second letter award as a Cowgirl.
2010: Freshman: McCormick made a very early impact for the Cowgirls in her freshman season, playing in all 20 games and starting 11. She tied with four of her teammates for most goals on the season at three. She scored the first goal of her Cowgirl career in a shutout victory against Buffalo. She also picked up goals against Kennesaw State and UNLV. She took the second-most shots for the Cowgirls at 40, with 20 of those shots on goal. She earned her first letter award at UW.
High School: McCormick joined the Cowgirls from Omaha Marian High School in Omaha, Neb. McCormick earned all-state honors in 2009 after leading her team to the conference championship. She played club soccer for Toro Depotivo and the Omaha Elite FC and was named team captain in 2008. McCormick led the OFC Elite RIO to the 2009 Nebraska State Championship. She was also a member of the `92 Nebraska Olympic Development Program.
Personal: She was born on May 20, 1992 in Omaha, Neb. She is the daughter of Nancy and Martin. She has one brother Michael and two sisters Maggie and Emily. She is majoring in animal science at UW.
