Cowgirls finish conference play on Saturday

SENIOR (2015-16): An All-Mountain West Conference selection in both singles and doubles for the first time in her career. She went 8-5 in the fall in singles action while winning six of her first eight matches. Posted a 3-1 record at the ITA Mountain Regional Tournament. Had an overall record of 22-14 on the season including a 14-9 mark in dual play. In league action, she went 3-2 on the season. She had a 17-13 overall record in doubles action which included a 17-12 mark with playing partner Magdalena Stencel. The duo also went 4-1 in conference play which earned them All-Conference honors. Ranks tied for 25th all-time in school history with 37 singles victories and 31st in doubles victories with 20.

JUNIOR (2014-15): Joined the program in 2014 and finished the fall with a 9-5 overall mark in singles play. Won her first match against Amber Stuhlman of Utah State (9/18/14). Reached the round of 32 at the ITA Mountain Regional Tournament and finished with a 3-1 mark. Played six doubles matches and went 2-4 overall. Finished her first season 15-15 overall in singles action including a 6-10 mark during the spring playing at the number two position. Posted a 2-2 mark in Mountain West action.

SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA: Came to Wyoming after a two-year career at SELU. Tokareva went 12-9 at No. 2 singles during the spring of 2014, while finishing with a 7-5 mark versus league opponents. Had two separate three-match win streaks during the season. Teamed with Margaux Kaltenbacher for Southland Conference doubles victories over Incarnate Word and UNO. In 2013, she was a key performer at the top of the singles lineup. Finished the spring with a 15-8 singles record, including a 13-2 mark at the No. 2 position. Opened the spring with 12 consecutive singles victories. Went 7-7 in doubles play with three different partners. Was named Southland Conference Player of the Week on Feb. 5.

HIGH SCHOOL: A top-ranked player coming out of high school. She played in over 80 international tournaments throughout Russia and Europe. In 2011, she had an ITF World Ranking of 258, while holding a National Ranking of 22.

PERSONAL: Born July 13, 1995 in Moscow, Russia. She is the only child of Viacheslav and Viktoria Tokareva. Majoring in social science.
